We have been super busy... I haven't posted in FOREVER!!!! Cash is a YEAR old! We had his 1st Halloween, 1st Christmas, 1st Haircut and his 1st Birthday!!!
Coen is still the best big brother and they have gotten to be so much fun together! They love playing with each other!!! Cash runs after Coen now and pulls on his shirt trying to knock him down. He is feisty!!! Other than that... we painted our kitchen and hallway, doing little things here and there to the house, we still plan to put it on the market this year... Pray we can sell.

Haven't updated in over a month, Im horrible... Im not sure if anyone still reads this or not, so I just do it monthly now, well that's the pattern Ive been on...

We have been busy- In August we had Makenna's 1st Birthday Party!

We've hung out around the house, had cook outs with friends. Football has started.

Threw my dad a surprise 50th birthday party! He was so surprised!!!

We have started to fix up our house to get it on the market come beginning of 11. Hunting season starts this weekend, i can't wait (that is sarcasm:). Family has been in town, went to see family out of town.

Cash is 8 months! Full of cuteness! So much fun! Growing like a weed, a fast one!
He is 20lbs, not sure on height.
Wearing 9-12 month clothes.

Coen is growing like a weed too! He is so smart and he amazes me everyday! He loves his brother SO much! He is starting to point out numbers and letters he see's places or short words and I think it's the coolest thing! He has an attitude like his mommy! Stubborn like his mommy and daddy, but were working on it :)

Cash started crawling last weekend, right before he turned 7 months!!! I can't believe it still! He is getting around the house like there is no tomorrow! Makes me sad, he has grown so much and it's gone by too fast for me! He loves Coen so much! He loves his daddy so much! And he loves his mommy!

7 Months:

Weigh: im guessing around 20lbs, may be around 19 or so since you've become mobile, not sure for length
Food: you eat a ton! About 4-5 bottles a day, 2 jars of baby food lunch and dinner, little snacks here and there- puffs, yogart melts, graham crackers, a little bit of people food, trying to introduce the sippy cup more
Clothes: Wearing all 6-9 month things or just 9 month
You do not have a problem sleeping :) thank you for that! You love your sleep!!!

No words yet- just babble! You light up when we say Mama, Dada, and Bubba or brother (im not sure what you will call Coen, we will see :)

Last weekend we had the talented Becka with Bluegenes Photography capture some family pictures for us, it is my birthday present from my momma. And we needed 6 month pictures of Cash! We had so much fun, hot but fun! We used our sign that Jennifer at Show Me a Sign made for us a month back and it really was a cute prop for the pictures!!! Thank you to both very talented ladies!!!

We went to the lake this weekend with good friends of ours and their son Elijah. Matt and Coen went up on Friday night with them and then I came Saturday morning, we spent all day on the boat!! Donny wakeboarded, Matt tried (for the second time, he's so determined, but just can't get up :(), so he kneeboarded instead, rode the tube with Coen, Coen and Elijah rode the tube together too! I got a ton of sun! It was a perfect day to be on the water for sure! It was a great little getaway with just the three of us, Coen needed some one on one time with just mommy and daddy and he got just that this past weekend! =) We had a blast!!!

Cash was with Nonnie Saturday and they had a lot of fun together!

It's Wednesday! We are almost to Friday! Almost there!
We have another busy weekend ahead, family in town Friday, Saturday a birthday party for Tyson, Saturday night family night, Sunday - nothing! Im laying around all day Sunday! =)

Coen starts swimming lessons on Monday!!! Im very excited!!! He loves the water already so hopefully he enjoy it... Ive been preparing him this week that he is going to see Ms. Jackie next week! He seems excited! He will be doing it for two weeks! Wish us luck!

Coen's 3rd birthday party

We had Coen's birthday party last Saturday! He had a blast! It was so much fun! Had a minor mess up with our rented slide, had to use the one from last year (thank you to the Stages'), a minor rain shower for about 2 hours, but the kids played like no tomorrow! It's hard to believe our baby is three years old! He is so smart! So fun! So loving, the best big brother, caring, charming, beautiful, handsome, our world! (Cash too)!
Here are pictures! Diego was our theme this year! After two weekends of celebrating his birthday, this mommy is pooped! It was all worth it! This weekend we are taking Coen to the lake with the Stages' and their son Elijah! Some one on one with Coen... Cash will be with Nonnie Saturday and Sunday! That's our birthday recap! I am so sad we didn't get a family picture together! I ALWAYS forget :( I have to get better about it! These are all memories!!! It was a hectic day... but so glad Coen had fun!

Cash is now 5 months! Yes 5 months! Sunday he turned 5 months! ok done saying it now!;)

Coen turns 3!

Coen turned 3 on Monday! We celebrated with family all weekend! His party is this weekend and we are so excited, all of his friends are coming, our closest friends and family are coming also! We are going to have a house and backyard full :)! Two weekends of birthday celebrations for our sweet boy!!!

Friday morning at daycare- we did cupcakes for his class that afternoon :)

Our little ham turned 4 months Thursday 5/6... It's just going by so fast...
Stats: 15.8 lbs, 25 inches long, 42.5 head
He is 50% for everything

My favorite right now is going to get him when he gets up from the night or a nap he just smiles and talks to me before I pick him up

Started baby food two weeks ago- eating a 2.5oz jar at lunch with 4 oz milk, 2.5oz jar after afternoon nap and 4oz milk, 2.5oz for dinner with 6oz bottle with cereal... the boy can EAT!

Big Brother

Mother's Day was of course Sunday! Had a great day celebrating with my family and with my momma!
Matt took care of the boys Sunday morning and let me lay in bed =)
Then he made muffins for breakfast, we ate and got ready to head out to momma's!
We just laid around most of the afternoon and then went an ate at Texas Roadhouse in Southaven... Great food with my great family!

Happy Thursday! This weekend is hopefully not going to be terribly busy... we were going to have a garage sell this weekend but it is supposed to rain all weekend again... so.sick.of.rain....
so next weekend we are having it at dad's... we also leave Friday afternoon for Kelly and Jon's rehearsal, wedding Saturday!!! Woohoo!!!
The next weekend is Memorial Day weekend and Coen's 3rd birthday!!! The weekend after that is his birthday party! We are swamped the next three weekends!

There we go, that's alot of pictures... We have been so busy and the month of may is nowhere near slow!!!! Mothers day is this weekend, starting to plan Coen's 3rd birthday party, goodness 3 years old, can't believe our first baby is about to turn 3!! Cash is 4 months tomorrow!!! Whew my boys are just getting bigger!!! Ok back to our busy month, my cousin comes from Australia in a week in a half, spending time with her is a must, she is pregnant and finds out what she's having Monday before she comes!!! Then we have matts cousin, kelly's wedding weekend at pickwick, memorial day/coens birthday, then the following weekend is his party.... We just keep going and going and going

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was fun! Im going backwards, starting with Sunday- see above!
Saturday Matt worked all day until 6:30 :( we sure did miss him but had a fun day! We played outside most of the day, it was HOT! I had the boys out in little 15 minute periods so they wouldn't get too hot! I got to lay out in the sun when they laid down for naps and it was wonderful!!! I got a little color! I love to lay out in the sun! Hello warm spring time!!!
Saturday night we went and cooked out at Donny and Sabrinas house with all of our close friends! Friday I got off work super early and went home and cleaned, deep cleaned until Matt came home! We just played outside Friday afternoon and had movie night! Watched the Blind Side! Very good movie! We also have Did you hear about the Morgans to try and watch tonight and Planet 51 for Coen!

I forgot to mention last week that Cash turned 3 months old. tear.
Matt weighed him last night and he thinks he is right at 14lbs and then some!
He is still sleeping through the night!
He has the sweetest smile!
Eats 4oz in the morning

4 oz at lunch time
6oz in the evening with 2oz cereal before bedtime
He is in 3-6 month clothes, can wear some 6 month things!
He is starting to giggle more now, you have to really get him going though!

He will sit and coo and ahh at you back and forth for 20 minutes! we do it every morning and afternoon! It's my favorite in the morning time!
He hates tummy time. He only lasts for a minute, as soon as he rolls over he's done! (coen loved his tummy)

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter, stayed busy all weekend! Friday Coen and Cash had an egg hunt at daycare, Saturday it rained that morning so we stayed inside until about noon and packed up and went to pick up lumber for our new gate, played outside the rest of the evening! Saturday night we had our favorite couple over Lauren and Jorge and watched the basketball game and ate finger foods... Sunday was church with my dad, renay, karly, grandma and grandpa! After church we went home, took a cat nap and headed to grandmas' for lunch/early dinner! Had a great weekend with family!!! Ive added a slide show because I had so many pictures!
Cash turned 3 months old yesterday! He is growing, growing!

Yesterday Coen and Matt got haircuts!!! We have been talking about a mohawk for coen for sometime now, so yesterday we did it... I was nervous but it looks soo cute and when there is no gel it looks like a regular haircut... I wanted it that way because of well Easter this weekend and Kellys wedding in May... We are going to keep it like this until after kellys wedding and then we will shave it for summer (I think) I'm scared to see him without any hair :/ after haircuts we came home and played outside it was gorgeous!!!

He kept saying in the car I don't like the jelly aka gel!!! Too funny! He calls it a hohawk!!! Love him so!

momma's birthday, warmer weather, pictures galore

Momma's birthday dinner last Wednesday was very yummy and fun! We went to Kyoto's in Olive Branch.. (like Osaka)... This was Coen's first time to sit on the hibachi side and he was very skeptical of our chef, the fire and all the cooking he did on the grill! :) We had a fun evening just sitting with family, many laughs and a happy momma (mine of course)!!! We got her a g/c to get a massage and she loved it! I didn't get a picture of her opening it, or a group picture of us all ( I always forget that)!!! :(

The weather is warming up here! Yay for Spring!!! Saturday we had amazing weather so the boys and I were outside all afternoon! It was great!!! Matt cut grass on Saturday, his first day back after the winter! I/We am going to miss him so much when he starts back every night after work and every weekend! This weekend is Easter... so like the last minute person I am, I had to go Easter Bunny shopping today and get them outfits... I'm hoping and praying Coen's shirt fits, they are going to match (kinda) not identical... but they didn't have 3T only 2T so we will see this afternoon if it's a winner! We go to church every year with my dad, nay, grandma and grandpa, karly and zak, then lunch at grandma and grandpas!

We have come along way in three years!!! I wouldn't change not one thing! We have grown so much together since that first date in 2003 and since our wedding 3 years ago! He is my best friend, the best father to my two sons, the best husband anyone could ever dream of. He treats me better than I should be treated sometimes. He always wants what's best for me and our boys. He is the hardest working man Ive ever met! He completes me! period. I made the best decision three years ago by marrying this man and knowing that I get to spend the rest of my life with him makes me even more happier everyday! i love you matthew phillip! 99 more to go!

Happy Monday! Did you remember daylight savings this weekend! I surely forgot!!! Yesterday I got up and went to use the potty and let Mossy out, the kitchen clocks said 7:40 so I thought Ive got another hour to sleep before we go get the boys! Did not get up until 10:20!! We got up and dressed and went and picked up the boys from Nini and David's! They both stayed the night Saturday night so Matt and I could go celebrate our cousins 21st and a date night! I missed them like crazy after dinner, like I was forgetting something when we left... but they both were good and matt and i had such a fun night out! Had dinner at Osaka and then headed downtown to help Sarah celebrate her birthday!

That sums up our weekend! Yesterday we laid around all day, I did some cleaning and of course laundry... laundry with three boys and myself is NEVER ending!!! lovely!

Little update of this past weekend...

Family came over Friday to visit, Coen left and went to pickwick with Grandmomma and Kenna (he made me so sad Friday when he found out Makenna was going he wanted to go, I tried and tried to change his mind, make him stay but he wasn't having it... I knew he was staying out again this coming weekend and didn't want him gone two weekends in a row! but he insisted on going... broke my heart! my momma said get used to it, he's getting older and wants to go and do things.... ) :(

Cash turned two months old Saturday, Matt and I went car shopping, Cash visited with Nini and Kelly, went to Red Robin just the three of us

Picked Coen up in Walnut Sunday morning- his eye showing signs of pink eye, laid around the house, disinfecting all day trying to keep the boys apart =(

Monday no work took both boys to the doctor... Cash's two month check up and shots and Coen's diagnosis... Pink eye and ear infection

Coen's eye is getting better, looks 100% from Sunday and Monday morning, thank goodness! He wanted to love on Cash when he got home Sunday and he couldn't. It broke my heart!

Cash is a growing boy! He was 12.4 lbs and 23 inches long
he is in the 50-75% for weight and his head
25% for height
Shots went good... he cried like crazy when they stuck him but as soon as I picked him up and held him close he was ok!
He is rolling over belly to back and now trying back to belly
He smiles at you all the time, or will just bust out a smile when no one is looking
We are still waiting for that REAL giggle! he has done a little one but not the real one yet
He eats 4-5 oz each feeding 6 oz at night and sleeps 11-5:45 =)

This weekend we will be busy again and Cash is staying the night out for the 1st time! :/ I'm verrry nervous! We have our cousins birthday party to attend and we are celebrating our anniversary as well... so no babies for us thanks to our wonderful family for letting us do so! I am going to miss them both like crazy!!!

My in-laws have a pond at their house and when it's nice Matt loves to take us out to fish! I like fishing for the first 30 minutes and then I'm over it... It was pretty here this past Sunday, so we decided to go fishing... well actually Sarah (cuz) called us and invited us, Matt had wanted to go Saturday... so it worked out perfect! We got up Sunday morning, I cleaned the house up, did no telling how many loads of laundry and Pops and Mimi came for a visit before we left....
This was Cash's first fishing trip! Coen kept saying at the top of his lungs... were going fishing! =)

Cash is 8 weeks today! :( I can't believe it has been that long since he was born... I am so grateful for my two boys! Cash is doing great! We go next week for shots. We have been letting him sit in the bumbo for about 5 minutes at a time evryday to get him strong! He likes it because he can see everything, that's definitley one trait both boys got from me they don't want to miss anything!!!! He also did a mini roll from belly to back last night, it's still very early and I'm sure it was the way he was on our bed but he did it..;) here are pictures from my phone this morning. ... Ok so haven't posted in awhile, weve been busy! lets see, my first full week to work was last week and boy was it a long one and a tiring one! I was so beat by Friday! I am doing better this week so far, this time last week I thought I was going to loose it :(

Cash is sleeping wonderful! So I can't complain there! He has done great since we've been home! We are getting more into a routine which that what makes everyday easier!!

Cash will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe how FAST time has flown by this time! It flies by anyway but this time it's FLEW! whew! He is getting a personality, smiling a LOT more! He first smiled at Coen and I got to see it last weekend! It was great! He smiles at Coen every time now when he sees him! It's the best! He is weighing 11.13, we go in two weeks for his 2 month shots:( so I am anxious to see if he will put on another pound by then! He is an eater! :) Coen is doing wonderful!! Just helping us out at home, watching cartoons! Getting more of an attitude ;) and he is so smart! I love my boys! I love my husband! I love life right now!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day, we did I spent it with my three loves and we were lazy all day! =) Nothing better!
Cash went to daycare today =( I actually did ok, I cried only for a little bit and then I was ok, he smiled at Ms. Mary and that made me feel so much better, and Coen was by his side when I left! I am back at work today, my first full day! It's almost lunch time... keeping busy is key today! =)

Cash is a month old today! It has flown by and he has changed so much! He has brought so much joy to me and matt and coen too and our families of course! I am so glad he is here!!! We love you Cash Lee!!! I am not sure his weight, im thinking close to 11 lbs. We are going to just put him on our scale at home to see;) we go back to the doctor in a month for his two month check up and shots... He is getting more of a personality, really found his hands today, sleeping better, staying up more, and we are getting closer to that schedule, however it will be changed all over again when he starts daycare which is next week :( this is my last week home with him and it makes me sad. I'm so glad his brother will be there with him so that puts me at ease a little bit!
We had our family pictures taken today by the sweetest woman, Mrs.Cary! I think/know she got some good ones! She has to come back so we can try and get a couple more with Coen, he wasn't having it this afternoon at all. :( I am so glad she offered to come back and try and get more!
The rest of our day consists of movies and the boys nana, aunt and cousin are coming to visit ... Tomorrow is the Super Bowl!!! Yay! I'm going for the Colts!! Ready to eat some good food and be with my family and friends! Hope everyone has a great rest of the day and wonderful day tomorrow!!!

This little booger came home yesterday afternoon and we were sooo happy to see him! We had to go out to MS to take our car to get worked on, stopped by nonnies so he could get his new "pooter" !! He loves it and is soo smart! We love him so!

Missing Coen

Hope everyone is having a great week! We are except that Coen is with Matt's grandparents for a little getaway, he left Tuesday afternoon and is coming home Friday! This is the longest we have been apart from him! I miss him a lot and can't wait for him to come back! On a happier note we are taking family pictures Friday afternoon after Coen gets home! I hope we get some good ones, just one so I can get Cash's birth announcments out. He is doing great staying up more during the day and starting to get a little personality! I have gone back to work two days a week after matt gets home for three hours! I don't think I'm completley ready to go back full time but I have too! Cash will be a month old Saturday and I can't believe how fast time has flown!!!

Hope everyone has a good rest of the week! We are going to do a little shopping tomorrow, excited about that! Target is calling my name and we will have hand sanitizer everywhere! ;)

we are all doing well, trying to get into a routine!!! Coen loves his baby brother and is soo good with him, he is a great helper too. He has been showing out though the past week and is pushing our buttons but we are working with him!!! I guess that's part of it, but other than that it's been great having two, I have come close to some mommy breakdowns but nothing so far, thank goodness! I am still overjoyed with our two boys and my husband! He is the best father and husband! I love him so much!!! here are a few pictures, I am so sorry it's taken me forever to update, Im not positive who all still follows me, but for those that do here ya go! I will be back to work on 2/15 fulltime and plan to have a picture overload. I forgot my camera to upload pictures this time...

He is here! My water broke Wednesday morning at 3:40a.m, we got up, Coen to dad's and to the hospital we went! I was in labor for about 10 hours and had to have an emergency C-Section. We are so glad he is here and healthy! I will be gone from blogging until I go back to work, so here are a few pictures of our sweet boy and big brother!

Christmas , New Years and still pregnant

We had a great Christmas and New Years.. Happy 2010!!! I am very excited for this new year!! Coen racked up with presents and things he needed! Matt and I racked up as well from our wonderful parents and families! We got a lot done around the house too over our breaks! Coen and I spent a lot of mommy and son time together and it has been great and much needed!!!! He says one little thing every day and it makes what we go through as mothers so worth it. I love him so much!!!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years!!! We watched The Ugly Truth New Years Eve night, had a visit from three of my great girlfriends and watched the ball drop and got in the bed!!! =) Coen was out at 9 that night! We had a busy day on the 31st! Cole (his buddy) turned two that day and we went to chickfila that day and played, and played then went and shopped, so he was pooped too!

I am still pregnant. Went to the doctor last week and was dilated to a 4 and thinned out, she stripped membranes and I have had contractions ever since, just nothing close enough to admit me! :( I go to the doctor tomorrow and will know about an induction date!!! He is just not ready, and I am ok with that! I am so miserable, but I am soaking this up, I know I will miss it. Him being in my belly, moving around. So I leave with a few pictures! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years, I have read everyone's posts on my reader - just haven't commented, I am horrible I know. :( After I get back to work and into the swing of things I will be a better commenter! But do know that I read every morning before I start my work day =)

Yesterday was our 36 week check up and ultrasound of Cash!! We were so excited to see him!!! (this is going to be mostly medical and about his arrival sorry to bore you, or gross you out)
We couldn't see much of him, he is head down- does have one of his hands right by his face, just like Coen did in every ultrasound!!!! I think that is so neat!!!! He is weighing in at 6lbs. 12 oz right now!!!! He is big already! Keep in mind my due date is 24 days away!!
I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, going weekly now (3 more visits) or until he comes....
We will check his weight and check me again next Wednesday and possibly strip my membranes to try and start labor!!!!

When I was pregnant with Coen it was like 38 weeks and I was 1cm dilated... Maybe this time I will actually get to go into labor! I want that so bad!!! I didn't think yesterday I would have any progress but we did! =)

We are supposed to go out of town an hour and 45 minutes away this weekend for Matt's family Christmas, but that's not going to happen- I plan to stay really busy around the house, we have his Christmas party Saturday night and I think that will be enough excitement!!! I have to get our bags packed this weekend, Coen's bag and a toy bag.... It's really getting to crunch time!!! I am getting really anxious!!!

Wednesday's Post:

yes i look a mess! sorry!
i did a split maneuver this morning getting out of the shower and I am hurting...

I tried uploading a video earlier of Coen and it took more than an hour and then said error!!! Is there an easier way to upload video's???!!

We had a VERY low key weekend (those are the best), watched football, movies and just hung out around the house!

I go to the doctor a week from today and get to see Cash! (ultrasound) I am so stinking excited to see how much he weigh's and how he's doing in there! I am getting more anxious! Will he come early or will I have to be induced?! Only He knows, but I have been asking myself that question all week! After this morning's little maneuver, I feel he could come tonight, ha! I hope not for the sake of his lungs need to get more mature I'm sure and he probably needs to pack on more pounds, but if he did we would be ready!!!

Thursdays Post:

I didn't finish this post yesterday.. so I will today! Im glad it's the weekend, this week has been long, I had to have a tooth pulled Tuesday.. no fun! My new year's resolution is to take better care of my teeth and start going to the dentist every 6 months! Having kids now I want them to go like they are supposed to and have good teeth!!!

Tonight is my company Christmas party! I am excited, I love this time of year!!
This weekend we have another birthday dinner to attend!
Next week we have doctor visit then Trezvant Christmas and Matt's Christmas party
The next week we have kids swap with girlfriends and then it's Christmas!!!! yay!!!
The last week in December I am off all week! I plan on spending that whole week with Coen!!! He is going to have a baby brother soon so I want just me and him time! I am so scared I am not going to be able to show him enough attention once Cash gets here... O it's getting close!!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We did! Very laid back and different for the first time in years! I/we have decided that I/we will be cooking a dinner next year for my grandparents to attend and cousins and brother. So I will be freaking out come November next year! Wednesday night we had turkey dinner with my C family and it was yummy! Thursday we woke up, Matt went hunting and just laid around the house all day! He got home and we went to Wal-Mart, got a few things and came home and napped! Matt went hunting that afternoon while Coen and I napped! He got home and we got up, ready and off to grandma's for dinner and family time! All the food was so yummy! I didn't go overboard like I thought I would... Cash is up in my ribs when I sit so it's uncomftorable to eat at times... :/ better for me though not packing on the pounds! ;)

Friday we did got out and went shopping! No 5 am business! We got out at about 10 that morning and hit a few places! We only have to get Coen two more things are we are done with his Christmas!! yay! I usually am a last minute shopper, this year I have been good about getting things and putting them up! We will do gift exchanges with both sides of the family when we all get together and this year everyone is getting gift cards. It's so much easier and everyone can get what they want!

Tomorrow I go to the doctor for my 34 week check up. Just a routine visit. I am going to go ahead and start discussing a birth plan (not a strict one, but a more planned as much as it can be) I want to TRY and avoid every single possible situation that we went through with Coen.
We got so much done this weekend around the house. I am so thankful for my amazing husband and son (he helped too)! We/I cleaned Cash's carpets, put more things away, pack and play set up in our room and cabinets cleaned and organized. I have defiantly been nesting!!! The next three weekends are going to come and go and then it will be time for him to make his debut! We have a weekend with friends this weekend, next weekend my company Christmas party, the weekend after that Matt's company party and possibly Trezvant, TN if I am not dilated any (:p) for Christmas with Matt's extended family... So we are going to be busy!!! Have a wonderful rest of the week! Today has been a good day as far as eating goes, ha-NOT!!! had lunch with girlfriends at Osaka as a hostess's gift, and tonight Red Robin for Jennifer's Birthday dinner!!! Oh the scale will hate me tomorrow, hopefully not after all the running around and over-doing it this past weekend! we will see!!! Happy Tuesday!

Turkey week!

It's the week of Thanksgiving!!! YAY!!!

We had a laid back weekend. Washed Cash's clothes, put them up, bed is ready, still have some wall hangings to hang and to get the bottle cabinet ready and his bag for the hospital... etc. All last minute things, that I know will get done probably by this weekend or the next! Coen stayed with Nonnie Saturday night and I went to Olive Garden with some good friends... Came home and passed out by 10:30! Sunday Matt and I woke up and headed to the woods, to look for a doe he shot Saturday evening in the shoulder, but we couldn't find her, he thinks the bullet got lodged in her shoulder so she didn't bleed... Came home and laid around just the two of us and then went and had dinner at Nonnies and picked up Coen! He missed us and we missed him!

I am 33 weeks pregnant today! Only 49 more days left (or less) as a family of 3! I can't believe it! It's going by even faster to me now!!! After this week we will be in December and that is going to FLY by! With Christmas parties, Christmas with the Carnells' early and then Christmas!!!... The end of Dec will be here before we know it! whew!! I go Dec 2 for my 34 week and then Dec 16th for my 36 week and ultrasound to estimate his weight!! I can't wait to meet our son!!!

This weekend my great group of girlfriends threw Cash and myself a shower! They did an amazing job with everything and I am so thankful!!! Thank you to everyone that came and participated! We are truly loved!!! We got so much for Cash and now just wait his arrival!!!

It was a great day! I washed his first load of laundry Friday night and now have tons more to wash and get put away. I plan to have everything ready, washed, hospital bag packed by 35 weeks! So we still have 3 weeks to go! I know they will go by fast though!!! I go to the doctor Wednesday! 55 more days doesn't seem long at all! I can't wait to meet our newest son!

Halloween 2009

We had a very fun filled Halloween weekend! Friday night Coen had his daycare party and we ate, played games and trick or treated! Saturday night we had a Halloween party at the Stages' (very good friends) and Sunday we laid around all day and it was the best! I have a little cold I picked up over the weekend and it's driving me batty! I have been taking antibiotics and I think it's finally getting ready to leave! Thank goodness!!

Went to the doctor yesterday to check on Cash, nothing new or exciting to report- well one thing! I'm bragging on myself!!! I lost 4lbs in two weeks! Not sure how or why but I did! That made me feel really good, my last visit I went overboard and gained WAY too much! So after seeing the scale yesterday made me feel a lot better! I have a goal this time to only gain 30lbs. Im sticking to it! So I can gain 10 more in these last weeks!!! I hope to stay under my goal of course, so we will see!!! I can't wait until he's here! He is good and healthy and growing. We are right on track per doc!!! So I leave you with pictures! This weekend will be busy for me! Well getting my house ready, I am helping with a very close friends sprinkle!!! That is Sunday so Friday and Satuday I will be making sure everything is perfect and in order! My shower is next weekend and I am very excited! I can't wait to see friends and family! This past weekend 10/24 we took Coen to the pumpkin patch and Makenna and April came too! This was our first time going to the pumpkin patch as a family! It was a really neat farm! They had a hay ride and a corn maze and play area... We did not take Coen on the hay ride, I wish we would have now, but we will next year when we have both boys! Since Kenna was with us, we figured that would have been too much for her... We found three little pumpkins... One was for Makenna (her 1st) one is for Cash and the other for looks. Coen picked out a medium sized one, then him and daddy took off and found the big one!!

We are almost in November and that is crazy to me- next weekend I have a very good friends baby shower (we are 6 days apart, she is having another boy too), then the weekend after that is my shower for Cash!!!! Time flies!! I can't wait to meet Cash! But then I think really hard and I'm like I want to be pregnant for just a little bit longer. We are about to have two children!!!
Coen's always going to be my first baby but once Cash gets here he will then be the baby! I just wonder how it's going to be different, and I can't know that until he is here! It's hard to put into words how I feel, so many emotions... they are good emotions though!!!!
Well have a very Happy Halloween and a great weekend! I do not plan on coming into work tomorrow!! This afternoon Matt is taking Coen hunting and I am getting out to go get my eyebrows waxed and do a little bit of Christmas shopping!!!

Happy Thursday! Here is my weekly belly picture!

Went to the doctor Tuesday for my last monthly checkup and glucose screening! Its hard to believe we will be going every two weeks now and then down to every week! I am about to be a mommy to two boys!!! I am very excited but also very nervous! I am still waiting to hear if I passed my screening, they haven't called yet, I have called and left a message so just waiting, I suppose if I didn't they would have called by now- it's been two days! So we will see! She checked me Tuesday and I was good. He is happy and content!!! Hope everyone has had a good week! So glad tomorrow is Friday! This week has been so slow!!! my 1st real belly picture! =) kinda late, better than never! I will try and keep posting here on out. I actually figured out my timer on my camera at work yesterday and wa-la! Im huge. I hope Cash isn't going to be too big. I actually had massive, horrible needle like pains yesterday and they want me to come in tomorrow morning to check us. So keep us in your thoughts, everything is ok! I am sure it is, but I could barely walk yesterday leaving for lunch. I have started to drink more water and hopefully that has something to do with it... yay for today being Thursday!!!!

Happy Monday! blah. It's rainy/gloomy here and makes for a long day!

Coen and I went out of town this weekend with Nonny to Livingston to visit family! We had a great time, but we were ready to get back home!!!
Thursday Matt took Coen hunting for the 1st time and they ended up having a blast! =) They went that afternoon for about an hour and a half! Matt said he did really good but could tell he was getting ancy towards the end...
Nothing new with Cash or myself ;) we are growing. Go to the doctor next week for glucose test and check-up! 91 days left till due date! =)

Coen got a tattoo last night, his 1st!!! He wasn't too sure about them at first and then forgot about it and then would look down and want it off. =)

We worked in Cash's room some more this weekend, but not alot. My truck messed up last Wednesday so we were busy dealing with that, Matt tried to fix it twice by putting two starters on it, we bought a new battery thinking that would help and didn't, turns out after we took it somewhere that second starter Matt had put on was also bad! So they sent another starter to the shop where we had it and put it on and I got my truck back yesterday afternoon! I was so relieved! It's amazing how much you take for granted! Thursday and Friday morning Coen and myself woke up at 4:50a.m to take daddy to work! and let me tell you it was pure misery! There was no way I could have kept doing that every morning. whew! I feel for those who only have one vehicle, or have had to share one! It's a mess! Saturday Nonnie came and picked us up and we spent the afternoon shopping! It was a blast! Coen was very tired when we got back!!!

Dad let me use his truck Monday and yesterday!!! So thankful!!! So we are getting back into our normal routine.
Cash is starting to put a lot of pressure on me. Somedays it's worse than others. The fact that I sit all day at work isn't helping I'm sure, so I am having to make myself get up and walk!!! We only have 13 weeks and some days left! I can't believe it. I look at the days and see 90 something and it's crazy to think how fast that's going to go by with the holidays and what not! He will be here before we know it! Its going to be different this year with the holidays we travel twice in December and I don't think we will be doing that at all this year, I am going to be scared I go into labor.... Well enough blabbering. I am getting my Flu shot today. The regular one, not H1N1! I have read horrible things about it today and it has freaked me out. I will get the regular one, I did last year and talked to my nurse today at the doc and she said all will be ok! So I am taking their word ;)
So we will see if I get sick. I better not, I hope not! I didn't last year so hopefully Im in the clear. Coen will go next week for his!

that is exactly what Cash is doing right now! He is sooo active from about 1.30-2.30 everyday and at night right as I lay down! Matt got to feel him for the first time last night when we got in bed! I loved watching! He was like Omy he moves more than Coen did... I tried to convince him he probably doesn't remember, but he swears he does! His face was priceless! I can't wait for Coen to feel next. He has been lifting up my shirt to say hi to Cash and give him a kiss every day for the past week! It's the best feeling! I think they are going to be really close!!! =) We haven't been up to much since the lake, spending time at home, getting the house cleaned, nursery in order ( I will have pictures after this weekend, I hope) waiting on some wall hangings and getting the bedding washed and put on, Matt's finishing his dresser today, we spray painted it white to match the rest of the furniture, I am not sure why we didn't do it when we were getting ready for Coen...

I got to the doctor today! I am 24 weeks and a day! The 6 month mark!!!!

I can't believe Halloween is coming up! It will be here before we know it. Coen is going to be a horse this year (if I can find the right size at Target) Thomas the train is our back-up!!;)

My grandpas birthday was last week, the 17th he turned 82 and spent it in the hospital, he had a gallstone, had surgery and came home Saturday! :( He is getting back to his old self again! Thank goodness!!! Definitely not a fun way to spend your birthday, so this week we are going to go and see him and give him his birthday card!

Saturday hunting season opens... yay. I like this time of year but then again I hate it. Matt hunts just about every weekend... so we don't seem him that much. =( but that's his thing so I let him do it... When the boys get older they are all three going!!!

Today is Thursday! Yay! One more day closer to the weekend! We had a great weekend at the lake!! This post will mainly be pictures- Enjoy... I really don't have much to write about...

Cash is moving a lot more these days, more in the afternoon!!! He really started moving more after our last ultrasound! I can't wait to meet him! I go back to the doc on the 22nd. Nothing special at this visit. Just routine check up and measurements! I will be 24 weeks then! 6 months!!! yay!!!!

Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a great and safe weekend! It's a holiday weekend, if you are traveling be careful!!!!

We are going to start working on the nursery tonight and I am quite excited! Tomorrow Matt has to work and I will be home getting things ready for the lake! We are going for the weekend. We have been since July 4th! That's a long time for us, we have been maybe three times this year and that is sad! Matt has worked every Saturday since then! :(
So we are looking forward to the long weekend with family!

i feel like poop -
have a cold that popped up Saturday, thought it left yesterday morning, and came back good and heavy around 7 last night. ugh. being preggo and sick is no fun. I want to take an Alka-Seltzer SO bad, I know that kicks whatever I have to the curb- but I can't. Not healthy for Cash! So right now I'm stuck with Sudafed or Robitussin DM (this does nothing)... sorry for complaining.

Well on a happier note, we had a fish fry yesterday at dad's. My aunt and uncle are in from Vancouver on vacation. So every year they come we always get together with all the family. It was so much fun and hate that they live so far away! Here are a couple of pictures from Sunday. Happy Monday!

We FINALLY go to the doctor tomorrow to find out the sex of this one! I am thinking another boy, but we will see!!!!

I really really am anxious. after we know tomorrow it's on to the nursery and getting more prepared for two!!!

We had a great busy weekend! It flew by! Friday night Matt and I got some us time, so we went to dinner at Chili's and had the three course meal for $20.00. You get a TON of food! I def recommend it!!! It was delicious!
We didn't make it to the movie :( I know, I know... I was too stuffed and sleepy, so we just stopped by a friends house and visited a little while... Went home and passed out.
Matt got up Sat to go cut at 8. Coen didn't get home until 10:15 so I got to sleep in until 9:52 and it was amazing! I cleaned house and then we went to walmart. Got a new shower curtain for the bathroom and just nick nacks.

Came home put Coen down for a nap and got ready for incredible pizza! We had a blast! Saturday night we didn't do a thing, I was asleep by 10!
Sun woke up and headed out to Hernando with our cousins boyfriends family and had a ball! Coen got to ride his first horse!!! It was so much fun! So we stayed busy! Hope everyone else had a great weekend! I will post a belly picture tomorrow! Here are a few pictures from saturday and sunday!

whew! i haven't blogged in forever! we went to the beach the weekend of 7/18-7/22 , so weeks before that we were preparing for that! we had an amazing time! can't wait to go back, although it's going to be an even bigger change taking not one but two children! pregnancy has been good. I was so sick at first- :( I had no morning sickness or nausea with Coen, this pregnancy has really been different! It has gone by fast! Having Coen helps move it along! He is growing so much! He is counting to ten and can say most of his abc's. He gets a little confused, but I love to hear him talk and sing. He is so smart! We are doing great with potty training. My goal is to have him completely potty trained by Jan. We aren't starting underwear at night though for awhile. He is doing so good right now during the day and we have just started keeping him in undies while we go places. Yesterday was my 24th birthday! It was a laid back day and spent the night with my family! April (my sis in law) is due Aug 23rd with mine and Matt's niece! we can't wait to meet her Makenna Claire is her name!!! So we are getting ready for that and our BIG ultrasound on 8/25!~ We will be on a roll after that - getting everything prepared for the new addition - once Thanksgiving gets here, it's Christmas and both of those holidays everything flies by! 4 July 2009 Weekend

We had a great long, busy weekend! Thursday Matt didn't have to cut so we spent the afternoon together and went out to eat for dinner! Friday he did cut so he wouldn't have to Saturday... So Friday me and Coen hung out most of the day! We played and then went to Wal-Mart to pick up hot dogs and cookout goodies for Friday night! We had my parents over for the Collierville fireworks and Matt's good friend and his girlfriend over also. We had a blast! Coen stayed up the entire time till everyone left at 11! He loved the fireworks!!! Loved sparklers and the pop rocks!!!
So we had a good time!!! I wish I had a camera!!! :/ This weekend I will be going to FINALLY get a new one for my birthday!!! YAY!
Saturday morning we headed out for Pickwick at 10 to spend the day and Sunday! Had a family lunch at 1:00, then hung out for the rest of the day! Coen went out on the boat with Grandmomma and Grandaddy for about two hours while we rode with Nini and David! Came back in, swam and got ready for the fireworks down at the bank... They were pretty! We could see the ones at the dam for a good bit, before it started to pour!

Sunday we woke up and got the boat out! We rode for about 4 hours! I got soo burnt! Had a blast though! We went and looked at all the big million dollar houses off the water! Matt and I would love to have one, one day!!! Come on lotto!!!! ;)
After the boat ride, we got in and got the car packed and got on the road! For some reason I was REALLY ready to get home.... got home last night and we were pure lazy!!! Hope everyone had a great one!

We are 13 weeks today! I go back to the doctor after our Florida trip (12 days till we leave)! I will be 16 weeks when I got back! I should get an ultrasound this time around !I hope so at least! I want to see our little one!

Hope everyone has a great week! I was not looking forward to getting back to work today... could have used one more day! So from here on out I am REALLY counting down till FL! 12 days! yep 12 days! I can make it!!!!

Friday got off work, went home for lunch then to a friends house to chat before I had to go to the doctor... Doctor visit went good!!! I gained 4 lbs, blood pressure good and blood work came back ok. The heartbeat was strong and steady at around the 160's! That is the best feeling to hear that!!! So I go back in a month and hopefully they will do another ultrasound so we can see what baby C looks like! Or they might just wait until 8 weeks when we will go to find out the sex! So we will see! I have GOT to watch my weight! I only want to gain 25-30 lbs with this one. I gained almost 40 with Coen! And it's taken me awhile to get it off!!! It's worth it though!
Nini (Matt's aunt) wanted to keep Coen Friday night so we said yes, after we went and saw my grandparents and their garden we came home, packed him up and took him out to spend the night. Matt and I decided to cookout Friday night, so we went to Kroger, got ribs, chips, dip and other dishes to go along with our burgers and ribs and called Lauren and Jorge over to eat with us! It was tasty!!!! We all sat around and talked for hours! It was really fun! I ended up staying up until 1:30! Haven't done that in forever!!!
Saturday I tried my hardest to sleep in but couldn't, so got up and did laundry and piddled around the house, went and picked Coen up and we came home and got ready to go out to Nonnies! Nay (my step-mom) called and asked if we were home, we were in the process of loading everything and getting buckled in and she said that her and dad had something for Coen! So I asked and she told... a twin bed and new dresser!!! So they asked if they could come drop it off and set it up and I said sure! Moving that crib and his old dresser out of his room hit me all at once! Looking at a twin bed in my baby's room, a new dresser that's so tall and knowing that his playroom is about to be a nursery got real on Saturday at about 2:00p.m! I'm still emotional about it! It is crazy to think we are going to have two kids in 196 days! I pray Coen does well with this baby! He has been needy lately and starting to get an attitude! ( I couldn't begin to tell you where he get's that from)!!!
Sooo.. got bed put up- dresser in- crib and dresser to playroom. I plan on leaving those toys in there ummm until I can handle moving the changing table out of his room and getting shelves put in his closet for toys! So that could be another 3 months! ;)
Got out to momma's and we went to Target! Coen needed new shoes SO bad. so got him two pair. and sheets for the new twin bed :( and momma bought him his comforter!So we left Target! Went back to Nonnies and waited for Papaw and Daddy to get there so we could cook burgers and hot dogs! While waiting momma let Coen play in the sprinkler and he had a BLAST!

So we ate dinner, talked and then went home! Sunday we woke up, Matt went and got us breakfast, we ate and then cleaned more! I love having him help me! It gets done so much faster! =) After we cleaned we did absolutely nothing until about 5:45! Matt decided to cook burgers (again)! I ate pizza with Coen.. we blew up the pool and let him swim and play until about 8:15! Came in got jammies on and got in bed! All three of us!

I am really excited this week we only work 4 days! I am happy I don't have to come in Friday at all!!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

4- a family of 4 !!!!

Matt and I found out on Mother's Day that we are pregnant!!! We went to the doctor last Friday and I was 7w 4d. Monday made 8w.

We are due January 11, 2010.

We are excited, thrilled, I am more nervous this time because we are going to have TWO kids, not just one but TWO. I know it will all be fine, but that is just the emotion that is running through my head over and over, ALOT more questions and what if's? But I am trying to let those go out the window! God is wonderful and has already blessed us with Coen and now we will have another blessing come the new year!

Coen is TWO! We had a wonderful turnout for his 2nd Birthday Party! The kids had a blast, the adults had a blast! Coen got a lot of new fun toys from our great family and friends! We are very thankful for everyone that is in our lives and Coen's life. Here are pictures from his big day!

Yesterday was a WONDERFUL day!

We had family dedication at church for Coen and turned out great, he received a bible and we three got bookmarks to put in our Bible's with the 3 G's:
1. Ground your child in God’s word
2. Grow your child in God’s grace
3. Give your child to God’s work
Also when we signed in we got a family photo that will be framed and a gift to us in two weeks! Momma said it turned out good! =)
My family came to our church and they really enjoyed it, dad says he will be back!!! =)

We celebrated my Mother's day Saturday since we knew Sunday would be so hectic! We shopped a little and then came home and just laid around and it was great!!! I purchased a new shower curtain that will go up when we paint along with the other hardware we have to put up! I'm excited about that. I am sure after Coen's Birthday and a couple of trips to the lake we will start on painting, I have been buying new things for each room that we are painting and they are up in Coen's playroom closet!

Last week I ordered Coen's B-day invites and getting them out today. They turned out really cute!

This weekend is BBQ fest here in Memphis! I want to try and make it down there at least one day!
Next weekend is Memorial day weekend and we will be at the lake for 4 days!
Last weekend in May is Coen's Birthday weekend! Still can't believe he is turning two! =(

Weekend Recap:

Friday- had a friend of ours' welcome home party from Dubai /Iraq- had a blast!

Saturday-

woke up
went and did some running around

went to CiCi's for dinner, saw old family friends
went to Home Depot for bug spray, wish list for kitchen appliances and bathroom, paint colors

Saturday night- turned my baby's crib into a big boy bed- (not totally but big boy enough for me and daddy). We will get him a twin bed when baby #2 is in the works. He was SO excited though. I cried. Daddy teared up.

{Please excuse the stains on the carpet- this carpet will be coming up hopefully sooner than later}

Sunday- woken up at 7:00 with a fever from Coen. Missed church. Took care of Coen all day. Loved him. Held him most of the day. Some spurts he had energy and would act fine then it would all get back to sickly Coen. We either have more teeth coming in, or just a cold, he had somewhat of a cough yesterday and a little runny nose.We were pretty much lazy all day yesterday, I wouldn't have had it any other way, well minus Coen being sick.

I also found out yesterday a guy friend I attended middle school with and high school died on Saturday from a drug overdose. Please keep his family in your prayers. I can't imagine what they are going through.

Everything else is good. This week Matt and I have to figure out Coen's birthday party and get invitations ordered. That will keep me busy and worrying until May 31st.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week. This week in Memphis the temps are rising! It's supposed to be in the 80's mid week and all weekend. Hope to get some laying out time in this weekend! YAY!

Called on lunch to check on Coen, temp is down and he ate a good lunch. I hope he is back to his old self in 2 hours! I want to play outside today!

I'm in Easter mode. =) Just makes you happy all over! Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend! Friday night we are dying eggs at the Carnell house, Saturday daddy has to work all day so Coen and I are going to do something outside! And go see Nonnie. Sunday is church, hope my brother comes with Matt and I! Then after church it's to my grandma's for Easter lunch and family time! Can't wait! O- being off on Friday also, that's a plus! Finally Friday

This week has been a long week. We haven't been that busy at work, makes the day's drag by, and then all the rain we have gotten. blah.
We are going to Pickwick this weekend as mentioned in earlier post... So yesterday after work Daddy took Coen to get his haircut- you can't really tell in this picture. This is after...
Here is before:
they dropped me off at Target. I could look around in there for hours, and pick up tons of stuff! I got Coen a polo for Easter, he is going to wear with khaki's or if I can find some light blue dress pants...

Some seeds to plant out front for a butterfly garden! And Matt two shirts... I didn't get anything! I was proud of myself, I even went yesterday on lunch and got Coen 3 new outfits- I just skimmed over my section! I usually buy something for myself every time I go to Old Navy... I held my urge though this time =)
My Nana walked 30 steps yesterday with her walker! That made my afternoon when momma called and told me! Her and Papa are together in a rehabilitation center in Livingston. I think them being together will hopefully make them heal faster! Please keep them in your prayers still. Sweet Stellan has been out of SVT for 24 hours I read this am. It makes me tear up! The power of Prayer! He has been SO strong also. If you would like to read more CLICK HERE . Keep Praying!
Also Kristen got to take home her sweet baby girl yesterday! Hope they had a great first night home with her!
THAT GIRL 's G-father is stable she wrote me this morning. So waiting for her post to see what happened.

it's a happy thursday

Today got to work, did some things, checked my Facebook- saw some exciting news so I have to share. One of my old girlfriends got engaged last night and I am thrilled for her. She has wanted to get married for the longest time! So my post is to Jacy! Love you doll! Here we are when she attended my wedding-I was SOO pregnant. whew! That was a happy day also! Well I just wanted to share my happy story of the morning. Hope more happy stories keep coming.
We are going to the lake this weekend for our annual Easter egg hunt ! I'm excited! Have a lot to get packed, Coen's hair cut this afternoon. I will only work a half day tomorrow- if that-.
I am bummed I will be missing church this weekend. I am taking my bible with me so Sunday morning I can read and praise him. Keep praying for Stellan. Also Whitney's g-father (I haven't checked this am, but yesterday afternoon she gave a tweet that he was being rushed to the hospital).

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend...

Just laid around mostly and I started Spring cleaning, I also started Coen's closet. I did not get finished what-so- ever, but I will get there. Saturday we laid around most of the day, the weather got so chilly here this weekend :( So we were definitely inside :( but had a good time. Here are a couple pictures of Unkie and Coen and then of me and my silly goose laying on the couch...

Sunday we woke up and headed to church... It was our first time to visit High Point and Matt and I both LOVED it. We are definitely going back and planning on getting more involved with HP. We came home and made lunch, went and visited Pops,Mimi and KK... Came home and cleaned up and had another movie night.

Please keep praying for those mentioned in last weeks post. They still need our prayers, including my Nana and Papa. She had a rough night Saturday night. I found out from my mom that Nana is going to have intense therapy. They are going to have to teach her to walk again. :( So praying for her to have lots of good strength. Not sure when it actually starts though. Papa is sad and depressed mom said, he also started having more chest pains Saturday night, but they got them under control so he was resting all day yesterday.

On a happier note- I have read from Facebook that The Wilburn baby- Harper is doing well. She is off a breathing machine. So that is awesome.

It's Friday.

Memphis played last night- they lost- had a good season though- I just wanted them to go all the way- I did not like how they played last night- but owell- over and done with-
Matt and I did yard work when I got home from work yesterday until 7 o'clock. The yard looks SO much better! I meant to take a picture, but forgot. I will post one Monday. Nicole brought JP over so him and Coen could play then we went and got pizza and beer and waited to watch the game.

Update on my nana: I was going to go up with my momma yesterday to Nashville, but decided to stay at home, I have a lot to do around the house this weekend and reallly didn't want to be away from Coen another weekend. They did move her there, her kidneys started to fail on Wednesday night and had to be flown to Nashville. They finally have put their finger on her disease and are optimistic! Thank goodness. Just a long road.I will post a link if you would like to read about it. Scary disease it is- outcomes can be good or bad. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/guillain-barre-syndrome/DS00413 if you catch it pretty fast, there is medicine that you can have to get in under control.

She was better last night when I called and checked on her. They stabilized her kidneys and she is on oxygen as of now. Still Pray for her. Papa is still at the rehab facility for his stroke and got to go see Nana last week, so I know that made him feel better! Both of my aunts are up and momma now so they are WELL taken care of. Not to mention the nurses and doctors. So I feel a little better about both of them. Whew.

Please continue to PRAY HARD for Stellan! And a new one today, a sweet friend had baby #2 this morning. She needs your prayers! You can read here: The Wilburn Family... So be praying today. At some point today stop what you are doing and Pray - Call out to Him.

This weekend will be a chill weekend. Coen's getting a haircut and then getting more cleaning done. Coen's closet will be cleaned out by Sunday. That's the only goal I am making this weekend. ;) Hope everyone has a great one!

Today is Mossy's 1st Birthday!

Last year we decided to get Coen a dog for his 1st Birthday! So started looking online and around in the papers, I wanted a dog that didn't shed and one that wouldn't get big in size. I had a dachshund years ago and loved her. So I figured that's what we would get.
Two years ago January we gave away probably the BEST dog we have ever owned and loved more than anything. Coen was just a baby and Tubby (the dog) shed toooo much. I couldn't stand all of the hair and didn't want to keep her groomed every three weeks. We weren't giving her ehough attention either,so we parted ways with her. =*( O how I miss her, I think back and I should have just gotten her groomed- I was a new mommy though, Coen was starting to crawl and it just grossed me out.
So in May we drove to Brinkley Arkansas to pick up the most cutest puppy. She has been fun ever since. Hyper, but growing out of it. Coen picks on her but is starting to understand playing with her, and being more gentle!

Please pray for my Nana.
She was admitted last week in the hospital for inner ear and stress (we think), this comes after Papa had his stroke 2 weeks ago. Papa is now in a rehabilitation center in Livingston, he is doing ok, but has a long road ahead. I think having this happen to Papa put Nana in a lot of stress, she fell three times last week due to her inner ear (we again think), once on Sunday and then twice again Monday and was put in the hospital last Wednesday. She now has no feeling in her legs. They did an MRI yesterday but the machine broke, so will have to another one and wait and find out what her diagnosis is. They are wanting to already move her to Nashville, I'm sure for better doctors? But that is all up in the air. I might go with my momma up there Thursday and come home Sunday.

Please Pray.

Roburt Sallie had the game of his life with 35 points- Thank goodness!!!!
The Tigers just got done playing not too long ago, I watched while I was on lunch for a bit and then came back to work and had to watch the scores update through Fox Sports and ESPN. I am in a bracket here at work with 4 other men... I'm trying to win :) I am routing for Tigers though all the way. I usually do! So we won! Thank goodness! They have to step their game up!

Tuesday was our anniversary and we had a good one. We went to Chili's for dinner, Coen went and visited Pops and Mimi while we went and ate and then we went back home and played for a bit...

Yesterday was sooo pretty outside! Matt is starting to cut grass on the weeknights again, I hate this time of year because he is gone until dark :( he hates it too though! But the extra money is much needed so CANNOT complain... although we miss him. So Coen and I were outside from the time we got home until it was time for dinner and then back out again until bathtime and Daddy got home. We had a good time! He is 100% boy!

Ready for the weekend! Actually to relax! Tonight I am going to see some old friends and reaally excited!!!! Tomorrow is Friday! Yay!

Love and Marriage

This weekend was the best weekend that I have had in a long time, Matt agrees!
I left Thursday for Nashville to take part in my cousin getting married, got to the hotel (it was amazing), checked in and then waited for my other family to get in and the other bridesmaids.
Thursday night we went out in Nashville to a couple local bars, showed the Aussies downtown Nashville and had a BLAST! Friday we woke up and got some last minute things done for the rehearsal and tried to be lazy... Matt and my mom and Donnie came in Friday night and I was anxious all day waiting for him to get in. They met us at rehearsal dinner...
We also went out Friday night to show Matt downtown and to a karaoke bar.
Saturday woke up early. We had to be in the room to get ready at 8. We were ready by 12:30 for the limo ride to the chapel, here we are coming out to the limo trying to hide her....

Then it was off to the chapel... Here are a couple from the wedding and then some from the reception.... picture overload... :)

Sunday came and we got up, got packed, visited with family, said our good-byes and headed to shop for a little bit and sight see... We picked up some souvenirs for Coen and then headed out. We were SO anxious to get home and see our baby! It was a fun, MUCH needed getaway but o how I missed him! He was pretty excited too I think! He smiled so big and just ran as fast as his little legs could let him right into my arms!

So I am pooped! Wore out! I have been going and going since Wednesday... I hope to slow down for the rest of the month. :) Tomorrow is our TWO year wedding anniversary and I am excited! I can't believe it's already been two years! I am so happy that Matt is my husband and the father of our child. He is amazing. We have our ups and downs and have been through a lot, knowing that I know we can keep making this work.

A lot going on

Haven't posted in a couple of days...

Weekend was good... Friday night Matt, Coen and I went to eat dinner at Red Robin, got reallyyy full and came home and hung out with some close friends. Saturday we woke up and went to Shelby Farms, my company had a flag football and cookout! I played flag football and had so much fun! My body though is still paying for it! That's how bad of shape I am in. Sunday with the time change we overslept for church. It's been something every Sunday. Not good on my part. At all. :(

My grandfather started having chest pains Friday late afternoon, him and Nana went to the hospital that night and waited for 6.5 hours to be seen. He was seen Saturday morning and with whatever test they gave him caused him to have a light heart attack and a stroke. PLEASE keep him in your prayers, for a full recovery! He has been in ICU since and will be moved to a regular room today and heavily sedated, he has been fighting with all the tubes and they think has had an allergic reaction to the medicine. He doesn't want anything on him. They are also taking the stint out and I am not sure how this will affect everything, but hopefully they know what their doing.

Tomorrow is my last day at work for the week! My cousin's wedding is this weekend! I am very excited, also worried about my papa though. I am leaving Thursday for Nashville, we are having a line dancing class taught that night and then Friday we are waking up and getting pedicures and a little shopping. Friday night is the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, Saturday is the big day! I am so happy for the two of them!
This will also be my first ever wedding!!!

Coen will be staying with Matt's grandparents this weekend. O how we are going to miss him! This will be the first time we both have ever been apart from him! We need this trip! We haven't been anywhere by ourselves since 05! Our 2 year anniversary is a week from today!! So we will celebrate a little while we are there! Sunday we are going to try and shop a little and sight see, but I think we will be ready to get home to Coen!!
*still no camera yet* i am going insane!!! I can't stand it. I have fiddled with mine so much trying to see if it will come back to life and it wont. Its a goner! :( I will be getting my momma's this weekend for a temp camera. ;) I have to have pictures to post when I get back of course! :)
